Trying out this blog thing

So I decided to give this whole blog thing ago, since I get too impatient to write in a journal, this is the next best thing. The Foxy Croppers have inspired me to start a blog, and since scrapbooking has become such a big part of my life the past two months, why not???

I was up until 3 in the morning working on a sb'ing project, sometimes I swear I just dont know when to put it down! Now I have to work today until midnight and just know its going to be a tough night. The good news, tomorrow I am going to a crop with the Foxys, I cant wait! Saturday I am going to a funeral "party" (personally, this is really weird to me. My girlfriends dad passed away, really unexpectedly, and its very sad, but instead of a funeral they are having a huge block party, BBQ'ing, beers, the whole sha-bang...thats just WEIRD to me for some reason). Saturday afternoon I am sure I will hit up Joanns since I have a coupon for there, and then I am going to the dodger game with my aunt and cousins, they have season tickets in awesome seats, and I havent gone to a game yet this season, so that will be fun. Sunday my boyfriend is suprising me with something for my birthday since its on monday.

23...where did time go? I know I am still young, BUT, its just weird. Its like, when we are younger, we want so bad to be "grown ups" and really, whats so special about being a grown up anyways?!?! No summer vacation, no nap time, no recess at school, NONE of that. I remember looking forward to 13, 16, 18, 21...now what?! Time just goes by so fast. I am thankful though that I grasp that concept and have learned to make the most out of every day. Like right now, I will never be in THIS moment again, its gone. Just weird to think about. I know I have "my whole life ahead of me" but I just want to freeze time right here and now. I love my life, I have been so blessed, I have a great family, good friends, a great job, and an amazing boyfriend. Pretty soon its off to start my own family, make new friends, start my CAREER as a nurse, and that amazing boyfriend will turn into an amazing husband. Hmmm...Alex Fazio, I can get used to that :o)
